Founded in 2001, the Revvin Fez Unit is a proud and active part of the El Kahir Shrine, supporting the mission of Shriners Children's Hospitals and the countless children and families they serve. Our members not only enjoy the camaraderie of being Shriners but also assist in meaningful ways, including helping with patient transportation to and from Shriners Children's Hospitals.
As one of El Kahir's parade units, we bring energy and excitement to parades and community events across eastern Iowa with our Indy-style go-karts, drift trikes, and custom trailers. Whether it's the roar of engines or the smiles from the crowd, we're always "Revvin for a Reason!"
Beyond parades, we stay busy throughout the year hosting events and supporting Shrine activities. On the first Sunday of each month, we host an Omelet Breakfast that is open to the public, featuring made-to-order omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and more. It's one of the best breakfasts in town and a fun way to support a great cause. In the spring, we hold our annual Wild Game Feed, a popular event that brings together great food, great company, and community spirit. We also proudly support major El Kahir events such as the Sportsman's Raffle in the fall, Kids Day in the summer, and other fundraisers and celebrations throughout the year.
Our members meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the El Kahir Shrine Center. If you're looking for fellowship, fun, and a fast lane to helping kids - come join us!
